In light of the ongoing and developing COVID 19 situation, it is with great regret that, after careful consideration, we have decided to temporarily close the Hotel with effect from Sunday 22nd March 2020.
Due to Government advice to Stay at Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives, we believe that this is the responsible decision to make in the current unprecedented situation to minimise the risk of the Coronavirus being spread. The Health, Safety & Well Being of our Team, their families and the wider community is our priority.
We will reopen again as soon as feel it is right to do so, and we are in the process of contacting guests with imminent and upcoming bookings to make them aware. We will keep the situation in review and should our closure need to continue for longer period(s), we will contact guests in good time to let them know of the situation as soon as we know.
For Bookings that have already been prepaid, at this time we ask for your patience whilst we make the necessary arrangements to process a full refund of the amounts charged. Please be assure that we will get this done in due course, at this unprecedented time we are prioritising our available funds for the ongoing payment of our valued team. Once the government mechanisms are in place to take over this, we will then be able to process your appropriate refunds.
If you wish to reschedule your prepaid to a future date, that would be most helpful. We can offer to extend the booking indefinitely and will keep the same rate for you should this be an option for you. We do fully appreciate that this may not be an option for everyone, but if it can apply to you then please just let us know by email – email@example.com and we will get that arranged for you. Even if you don’t know a future date as yet, we can move it forward to an indefinite date and once things get back to normal we can look as scheduling a definite booking.
Our telephone lines will remain open whilst we are closed temporarily, voicemail facilities will also be available and of course we can be contacted via email at all times. We will get back to any queries as soon as we possibly can. Please be patient with us at this unprecedented and difficult time.
The Hotel will be occupied and security checks carried out regularly, along with extensive CCTV covering both inside & outside of the hotel.
We will also endeavour to keep everyone updated via social media of any further developments and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

The Stotfield Hotel has 47 bedrooms in total. We offer 10 bedrooms overlooking the magnificent Moray Firth, and some of our Standard Bedrooms also have a partial Sea View. Some of our rooms can accommodate three or four adults or two adults with two children, or of course just one guest.
