Coronavirus global pandemic

    

The Stotfield Hotel’s Covid 19 Customer Commitment Statement


At the Stotfield Hotel we understand that the pandemic can cause anxiousness and worry on many levels in relation to travel and tourism and the hospitality industry as a whole


We are committed to reassuring our guests of our continued efforts in response to the Covid 19 restrictions. 


All of our Valued Team Members have undergone training on Covid 19 prevention and control procedures. 


The following are our areas of commitment to our guests, staff and the wider community


Hygiene

§ Use of Diversey disinfectant products to the European Standard of EN14476 that are proven to be effective against Covid-19


§ Hand Sanitising Stations in key areas such as lobby, Bar, Restaurant, and Back of House areas


§ Regular Deep cleaning protocols in place for all departments with all necessary PPE provided


§ Increased cleaning of frequently touched items and hard surfaces throughout the hotel 


§ Minimum Printed Material throughout the Hotel


§ Staff will regularly wash their hands thoroughly throughout their shift


Housekeeping Department 


Cleanliness has always been our focus but we have now enhanced our procedures 


§ All of our Cleaning Products are 100% safe and effective, they kill viruses and bacteria and sanitise. Effective cleaning relies on careful and thorough usage, allowing for sufficient contact times.

 

§ All our linens are laundered at temperatures in excess of 60 Degrees


§ We will sanitise all hard surfaces within the guest bedroom & bathrooms between each guest use.

 

§ When bedrooms are vacated, we will ensure the maximum time possible between deep cleaning 

and the next guest occupying the room. 


§ Any in room promotional material will be removed 


Social distancing


Social distancing will be practised throughout the hotel by encouraging 2m (6ft) distance between guests; including the following measures:


§ The Check in & Out Procedure will be minimised to limit close contact within the hotel


§ Pre-Check In Information will be gathered in advance of check-In to minimise the amount of information required on arrival


§ Floor markings will be clearly visible to aid with social distancing


§ Lobby furniture has been rearranged to comply with Social Distancing 


§ Protective screens will be in place at Reception and in the Bar & Restaurant Areas


Cashless operation 


We will be operating as a Cashless business where possible throughout this time. This will include food and beverage departments. Charges can be charged to your room account and settled by Cards only at this time


§ Debit/credit cards will be charged on check-in for the total cost of the stay


§ Any additional costs during the stay will be charged as consumed


§ Receipts for all charges on your room account will be issued via email on departure and not printed

 

Food and beverage Department


We will be operating a reduced food and beverage offering, which will be detailed in the restaurant and your bedroom upon arrival:


§ Tables in the restaurant will all be spaced with a minimum of 2 metres space between them

 

§ Cooked Breakfast will be made available as a plated service only, Additional safety measures are in place for any self-service items. 


§ Contactless room service will also be available


§ Appropriate hygienic delivery methods will be in place for our food & beverage offering


Guest and Staff Safety are our number one priority and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Stotfield Hotel in the near future. 


We ask all of our guests to regularly wash their hands thoroughly throughout their stay, for more than 20 seconds each time, in line with government guidance. 


In the event of any of our guests show symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid 19) during their stay we would ask that they follow the following procedure


1. Call Reception immediately. Our reception will contact the local health authorities on your behalf, or if you contact the local health authorities yourself, please also advise reception immediately

2. Stay in your Hotel Room & Avoid contact with other guests or employees. 

3. Follow the advice given by the Local Health Authority.


Symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid 19) are:

A New or Persistent Cough

A High Temperature / Fever

A Loss or change to your sense of Taste or Smell
